It's going to be a shame to graze and scuff such a good paint job mate but the gold she finds will be worth the pain of it. Crying or Very sad

Well the jetting pipes are in placed and drilled, the unit now has feet the next step is to take her out to adjust the jetting angle. Then fix them in placed finish painting and shes right to go.  Which I am hoping to do this week sometime.

Nice one Jimmy. You might need to paint a bright streak on it so she doesn't the get lost in the bush. lol! So I was wondering how you plan on fixing the piping jets into the banjo?? Surely zip ties won't do it! And also if you were to go into deep water and use leg extenders how would you keep it sturdy enough and solid enough that ur gold won't shoot out the end of it.

Not to take anything from James' craftsmanship with the zip ties, but for the G-1 highbanker that I have, electrical conduit mounting hardware does a superior job.

The conduit mounts look like the letter "P" with the vertical bit actually being an 'up, around the top to support the tubing, back together and down' bit of strapping.  At the bottom of the P is a drilled hole to mount the tubing / support to the wall.  A simple nut & bolt holds the spray bar securely, yet easy to remove if needed in that G-1.

Test Banjo

Well I went out to Oallen today and gave the new Banjo a run and to fine tune her. Well I am very happy with the result but I did cock up in two areas. The rear deflection plat I made to long and will need to shorten it. And the gold catch tray I tried a new design which did not do what it should of done it was only running at 50% retention instead of 90% so back to the old style. I was pumping 70 meters two inch for 20 meters then down to one and a half inch for the rest. The first half of my test was with the pump running ¼ throttle the second half of my test was with the pump running flat out which almost lifted the unit off the ground. Running time was for 3 hours over all.
